It was a fine sunny day in August when members of the Choir met at Dizzy and John’s house. Orange begonias edged the patio. Despite the long hot summer, there was still green in the garden and across the fields. John and Jonathan were our barbeque cooks and there were also some delicious salads to accompany the burgers (we will all be wanting Sarah’s melon, feta and mint salad recipe!) Dizzy and John looked after us well with drinks and desserts. We enjoyed meeting up and having time to chat. Our youngest supporter, Arthur, soon to be one year old, gave us lots of smiles.
On sale were hand made cards from Jenny, garden plants from Maureen and home made jams made by Virginia. Some photos of the garden party are included and there are some more in the media/photo section. Thank you to John and Dizzy for putting on this enjoyable event, and thanks to all who helped during the afternoon.
