On Saturday 10th September the choir welcomed several visitors to "come and try us" morning when Paul Hayward took us through some of the numbers of the Fauré Requiem in St Peter's Church, Ruddington, accompanied on the piano and organ by Michael Overbury.
Although we had arranged this early in the Summer, it was most appropriate during the national mourning for the late Queen Elizabeth II.
It was generally agreed to be a most valuable morning and we hope to welcome some of the visitors as choir members when we perform the complete work and Mozart's Vesparae solennes de confessore on Saturday 19th November 2022.
We also hope that those who attended may come back for our "Come and sing Messiah" on Monday 12th December at 7.30pm!
